VOICES

Sacramento Regional Family Justice Center | VOICES

VOICES is a committee of survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault who volunteer their time to celebrate their strength and survival. Survivors use their collective voice to help others through advocacy, education, and empowerment. VOICES members support each other as well as those experiencing domestic violence and sexual assault. VOICES members offer a unique perspective about gaps in service and the effectiveness of existing programs.

Committee members experience growth and empowerment as they carry out projects that aid and support others who are going through what they went through.

Members, survivors who were once completely isolated, can connect and form bonds through a shared experience with a common goal of helping others find hope and healing. The committee provides an opportunity for survivors to find and use their VOICE to help others.
